MADNESS SYNOTHIUM
So guy's my spring break officially starts kinda today!!

So now I'll have FULL time on working on my ever lasting project Madness Synothium (M.S)
As you may or may not know I've been working and working son on to get shiit straight. I'm very pleased to tell you guys that I've kinda reached my full potential and I an no OFFICIALLY start to work on the project.

I have fixed the story, characters and ther Bio's and stuff you know.
No I all got to do is update my characters, so there's a WHOLE LOT to draw I beryl got Jace to no look the way I want I'm pleased over the final version off him.

So I would do a really long update but I need to tell these important parts/ plans that I'm working on here I'll keep these updated so check the progress kinda weekly to check for eventual progress:

Anyway, I'm planning on a bigass project I'm going to start animating this summer. It won't really be a Madness movie; more conversations, more story, relative small amount of violence and a WW-II setting.

Planning to record shit for my project too (going to attempt German and Russian accents).
If I find the time, I may be able to record some of your lines too.

Hey man, I took some time and actually read everything.
Looks like your planning is great; but I'd like to give you a hint;
I like Madness a lot, but for what I've seen your art-like sprites are more than Krinkels-Madnessy.
You have your own style and I think that you should consider at least giving them faces rather than crosses, because you would be able to give them expressions and stuff.
Another thing to bear in mind is if you ever came to the idea to use your characters in a more commercial way of some sort; if all your characters are Madness style it might become an issue.

That's one of the main reasons I'm planning my project to be different from the other ones I put on NG; I'm currently experimenting with animating with my dudes with arms and legs (I went to giving them faces a while ago; my MD09 submission had characters with faces too).

It's just something I'm convinced to be better for my projects for the reasons I mentioned; you should do what you think it's best for yours yourself (of course) but it would be a shame if you would regret doing something similar later.

P.S. Some of the sentences I've written might be grammatically incorrect but I'm too lazy to re-read and check everything :P

I know that I've stared to create mt on style and the shiit is popping out! nicely and rich whit details.

I have thought about the face legs and arm part actually! Jade (My female character) got hair and sexy eyes ;)
I have experimented a bit whit the body actually. You can't notice it now, but when I animate the body will bend back n' forth you know. Kinda hard to explain but you get the point then I want to implant some kind off legs because when it comes to running I promise you it will look weired and be hard to looop and animate...

So once my new hand sprite is done I'll work on the body physics and stuff, but when it also comes to faces I can tell you now that I kinda much suck on drawing faces & hands. I know when it comes to the expression part you're right there will be a small prob, But I want to mix between the standard cross and eyes, I just find it to look really weird ON some characters that I've got, But Jace got his robot arm witch looks SICK! hahah (got a lot off plans n functions for his arm)

Since I ill be having females and males I think that all females will have eye's custom female body's and hands as well. But I'll work on the hand sprite right now then I'll work on a new body that can work whit all off these new features.

I still understand what your sayin' I'm not a teacher that is sayin this is worng n shiiit xD

Haha yea, I don't particularly suck at drawing faces but there are some easy solutions to make sure your characters don't look the same; just add "items"; glasses, beards, mustaches, eye patches, scars, different eyebrows and cheekbones, but also their "standard" facial expressions; their mouths; do they smile, do they show teeth etc.
Another trick; put some characters' eyes closer to eachother and their mouths than others, too far away or too close can make them look less intelligent and shit.
